There isn’t only one rule of wearing and structure even though it it’s traditional clothes. For 23AW season, the theme of our collection is Ivy and Trad style we want wear just now. Restructure the fabric, pattern paper, silhouette and trims for the iconic wear to take a cue from the J.PRESS brochure archives. Adopt graphic art for print and embroidery as new trial and put an element conflicting with Trad items into one product. As for colorway, add Yellow and Royal blue be POP colors centering archaic Natural color and smoky Earth color.

伝統的な洋服であれど、“着方”や“作り”のルールはひとつではない。 23AWシーズンは、今纏いたいアイビー、トラッドスタイルをテーマに据えたコレクション。 象徴となるウエアの素材、型紙、シルエット、付属品をJ.PRESSのブローシャーアーカイヴよりヒントを得て再構築。新たな試みとしてプリントや刺繍にグラフィティーアートを採用、トラッドなアイテムと相反する要素を一つのプロダクトに落とし込んでいる。 色目は古めかしいナチュラルカラー、スモーキーなアースカラーを軸としながら、イエローとロイヤルブルーでポップさを挿し込む。 歴史的な建造物の補修や再生のように、微細なレベルでの調整やディテールの一新を図り、より現代への互換性を高めたデザインへと歩を進めている。
