“Oxford bags” are made from CIOTA’s original corduroy using the pattern of Inplete’s 2-tuck trousers from J.PRESS ORIGINALS. "Oxford bags" are said to be pants worn by students at Oxford University in England in the 1920s to hide their banned knickerpockers. It was named because its relaxed appearance is reminiscent of a bag. Later, it attracted the attention of Ivy Leaguers in the eastern United States as well as in the United States. J.PRESS's "Oxford Bags" have a beautiful silhouette with just the right thickness. The material is luxurious corduroy with subin cotton for both the ground thread and the ribs. It's strong, supple, and has a deep color that gets better the more you wear it.
