MARATHON is based on a classic model that has been around since the 1960s at the NOVESTA factory.
The current model is based on the model used as training shoes for the Czechoslovakian team's marathon and race walking at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
This model uses the classic MARATHON and TRAIL SOLE, which provides easy grip even on rough roads, and is a reproduction of the outsole that has been used at Partizansuke's headquarters factory for a long time.
<NOVESTA>
Partizanske is a town in the former Czechoslovakia. NOVESTA was born in 1939, hidden away in the historic Bata Industrial Park in the small town of Partizanske in the former Czechoslovakia.
Shoe factories specializing in rubber and canvas products have continued through the history of World War II, the post-war Cold War, the socialist era, and the division of nations to the present day, producing products such as military, work, rubber boots, and running shoes. We have been consistently making Slovakian footwear since our founding.
